Meet Our Team

Sydney Doolittle

Sydney has been an avid yoga practitioner since she was a young girl. As a former gymnast turned coach, sharing her love of yoga by teaching others, was a natural transition. She obtained an Anusara based yoga certification at Vital Yoga in Denver, CO where she studied with John Friend and Desi Springer. Her yoga pursuits took her to India in 2016 where she studied in Rishikesh to obtain her 300 hour yoga teacher training certification with a focus on Ashtanga and Hatha yoga. Sydney has taught in some obscure places, leading retreats with the Life Force Project in Salento, Colombia and on a yacht in the Mediterranean with Sun Fun You Fitness Voyages.

Sydney has a background in fitness and personal training and a passion for the outdoors. She enjoys hiking, snowboarding and immersing herself in the natural world as much as possible and leads hiking and biking trips in the summers with Backroads. She recently returned from Bali where she studied Clarity Breathwork and is now certified as a Breathwork Practitioner; she is very excited to share her love of this technique with others.

Sydney currently studies Ayurveda with California College of Ayurveda with the hopes of becoming an Ayurvedic Practitioner in the near future. Her yoga classes are a unique blend of the different trainings she has acquired and generally involve breathing components, some fitness based exercises, as well as the yoga asana.

Sarah Adams

Sarah Adams

Sarah grew up in the small town of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and specifically on top of Lookout Mountain. Growing up on and around mountains made falling in love with Jackson instantaneous. Sarah moved to Jackson in the Fall of 2012. She is a certified Body of Arts and Science International (BASI) Pilates instructor. The BASI method is a beautiful combination of both classical and contemporary Pilates. There is a saying in the Pilates world that “there is no ‘fit’ like Pilates Mat fit”… Pilates Mat classes are designed to engage not only the body, but the mind as well. Pilates Mat blends strength and flexibility training while improving posture, and creating a long, lean, and balanced musculature. For Sarah, “Pilates serves as a preventative measure...it provides unparalleled stability, strength, flexibility, focus, and body awareness, all while serving as a ‘reset’ button… The rehabilitation aspect, the extremely adaptive nature, as well as the endless possibilities of Pilates are some of the many reasons [she] loves the method so dearly." Her classes incorporate plenty of core work, as well as strength and stability training and stretching. Sarah is an avid outdoors-woman who loves hiking, fly fishing, skiing, traveling and exploring the back country.
